Story
An on-going event from November 2014 onwards. The hand-knit and hand-crocheted items will be sold and all the money raised will go into Ben's snowflake tribute fund. So far items have been donated by Olive (Ben's nan), Val (Ben's great aunt) and me (Ben's mum). Items can be purchased at a variety of craft fairs in UistUpdates
Sales going well!
22nd August 2015Well an item from each of us sold: - a beautifully crocheted blanket kindly donated by aunty Val, a lovely knitted cabled aran tweed hat by mum and a pair of black sparkly fingerless mitts by me - a total of £56.80
First knitwear sales for the fund :-)
23rd November 2014I was very happy to sell a pair of baby bootees and a hat yesterday when I attended the tabletop sale at Balivanich Hall in Benbecula. The £13.00 paid for the items makes a good start to the Knit for Ben's Snowflake Fund :-)
